This is why I love conferences.  It’s a place where you can rediscover yourself and that’s what happened to me.

You all know me as a blogger but I am much more than that.   I help brands tell their stories using the digital space.  But my question was, why didn’t I make this clear to my people?

Here’s the thing.  When I started doing Simple and Pretty Co. full time, I thought I was going to do campaigns, create content, and have fun doing it.  Lately, I’ve noticed that I have skills that goes beyond just taking pretty pictures.

I have a background in creating websites, marketing, ghost writing, graphic designing and so much more.

Why are you just hearing about this now?

Personally, I get really overwhelmed because my biggest fear is having a client who doesn’t like my work and say that I’m terrible.  That fear was what kept me from taking the next step.  Since leaving teaching, I’ve helped bloggers and brands rebrand themselves and coached others to create content.

Through out this process, I’ve learned the type of clients I want to work with.  I felt like I kept getting burned because clients wouldn’t listen to my advice and wasn’t seeing any results.

I AM PICKY WHEN IT COMES TO WORKING WITH CLIENTS. I’m not here to just make money but really change people’s brand which will hopefully help change their lives.

I’m sorry that I wasn’t as clear as I should have been.  I was truly scared. I needed to take this time to understand who I wanted to work with because when you’re a small brand starting out, you need that time to understand your bottom lines.

Simple and Pretty Co. isn’t going a different direction.  I’m just going to share more of my projects beyond my “influencer” work.

My portfolio has grown and I’m so proud to show you.  Thank you for always sticking around.  I am going to continue being me but just share a little more…if that’s possible.
